Hey Stefan,

We've stayed in the Mespil a few times and found it really handy. Usually full of runners so no eejits running through corridor at 2am. They serve an early marathon breakfast. It's about 10-15 min walk to start and they allowed us shower at hotel afterwards. Don't know what we're doing this year yet.

Cheers

Barry

We're staying with family this year but stayed in the Hilton in Kilmainham the last couple of years. Its €95 odd for the room and is on the route of the marathon - about the 10 mile mark, so your loved ones need only roll out of bed to cheer you on. Think Mike B is staying there which, should be reason enough alone for you!
